Teascript is now Transcript Maker
Teascript, the high school transcript app we’ve run since 2006, has a new name. Starting today it’s Transcript Maker, with a new logo, a redesigned website, and a new home at www.TranscriptMaker.com.
Why a new name?
Teascript has served homeschool families for almost a decade, but the name never told anyone what the app actually does. Transcript Maker does. Whether a parent finds us through a search, a homeschool blog, or a friend’s recommendation, they’ll know right away that we help them make a high school transcript.
Along with the name, we’ve refreshed the whole brand. The new logo pairs a collegiate “T” with a graduation mortarboard in navy and orange, and the redesigned home page makes it easier to see how the app works and get started. Our tagline sums up what we’re aiming for: simply better transcripts.
What stays the same
If you already use Teascript, there’s nothing you need to do. Your account, your students, and every transcript you’ve built carry over to Transcript Maker, and you sign in with the same email address and password.
The app still does what it has always done well:
- Courses, grades, and credits: enter each course by school year, and Transcript Maker calculates the GPA for you.
- Courses in progress: mark senior-year courses as pending, so you can send a transcript before your student finishes high school.
- Tests and activities: record exam scores, extracurricular activities, and honors alongside coursework.
- A professional transcript: print or download a polished PDF, ready to send with college applications.
Transcript Maker was built by a homeschool graduate who remembers how much work it took to put a transcript together by hand. Homeschool families use it most, and a growing number of private schools use it to prepare transcripts for their students too.
